From Armidale to Tamworth. We both couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful this countryside is in Autumn. Both being Qld born and bred we had never experienced the beautiful colours of reds, golds and many in between. So glad we decided to travel inland to Cootamundra. Armadale is a very historical town in north western New South Wales. It has many beautiful old buildings, a university, art galleries, wineries and cathedrals. Surrounded by beautiful national parks. Autumn is a wonderful time to visit. The contrasts of red gold and green are just spectacular. Bob's sister -in-law and partner Dennis were the perfect hosts.
