DAY TWENTY TWO/TWENTY THREE
Woke up bright and early and made our way to Borobudur another ancient temple, that is so old, i think it was built before Jesus was about. Anyway when we got there the temple was amazing it was so pretty and huge! the photo that ive got for this album is actually one of the photos we took!
So anyway we walked all the way to the top and each layer has four stories to read, which were rather interesting! You had to walk around clockwise so you can reach the full nivana. Once we were at the top we got a brilliant view of Indonesia and few volcanoes too!
Then we all went back to the car and me and emma went and bought some cheap sunglasses cause emmas were broke! The brand she bought were Gurchi. which was hilarious but they was beautiful sunglasses.
Then got into the car and dropped Emma off at batik making and had a really lazy day and fell asleep next ot the pool. However because a volcano had recently gone off, every night we would have rain like a monsoon. so i got woken up by it was it was raining that hard, it hurt when it landed on you! The rain eventually stopped and i decided that i was going to have a wonder round the area. i bumped into Emma who had just finished her batik, which she did and amazing job at! We headed into the main strip to look at some clothes, and then had an amazing McDonalds!
We were ment to meet the group outside McDonalds at 830, however nobody told us that none of them wanted to go to whereever we were meant to go, so me and Emma were sat there for an hour! We had these people asking for more photos and then we just decided we would go back to the hotel! we met everyone at the bar next door and then chilled for the rest of the night.
The next day was another early start as we were heading off to PPLH. the jounrey in itself was actually not too bad, went rather quick seem as we are travelling alot, two hours is like 10 mins to us now!
When we got to PPLH i was sharing a room with Emma and Sarah! when we got to our bungalo, because PPLH is an environmental centre that teachers people natural ways etc. It was basically a bamboo shed in the middle of the rainforset. It was actually pretty cool. the best thing was that our bathroom was outside (attached to the room but had no walls) so you got a view of the mountains, but noone could see you do the business as it was covered enough! accept i hated going to the toilet because there was a massive spider in one of the trees near by, ewwww.
We all gathered round for dinner and met our tour leader who was going to take us for a walk the following morning so we all went to sleep with our mossy nets covering us. it was so cool but my bed was so uncomfortable!
Love to alllllllllllllllllllllllll xxxx
