It's all work and no play here in paradise... well that's not strictly true.. Today was a great fun dive exploring new sites with the rest of the staff and getting to play in quite a current. Riz has developed a new type of underwater iceclimbing which seems pretty effective when the currents ripping through.

Days have found a nice rhythm, early mornings and early nights but i've found a good stash of books to keep me happy. Oh and the dive centre cat Choto has found out how to get into my 1st floor bedroom in the night and wake me up.... lovely

For those of you who've been wondering where exactly I am or how to get here..

Take a flight to Chennai then another one with Kingfisher airlines to Port Blair, it's the administrative capital of the Andamans and is the biggest town on the main Island. From there it's a 2 hour ferry ride to Havelock. It's starting to get a bit busier now that we're getting into peak season but it's still rare to need to share a dive site.

I've been seeing lots of sharks, batfish, groupers, sweetlips basically a bit of everything. The diving is some of the best i've ever done. Have I tempted you yet??
