I saw Killer Whales in the wild today!!! We were at a nature reserve to see penguines (cute) elephant seals (massive!) and sea lions (smelly and noisey). While we were watching the sea lions on the beach, one of the rangers shouted that the resident family of Orcas were hunting and had just been spotted a few miles up the coast. There were 6 or 7 in the group, with the mother teaching the others how to hunt the sea lions. Because it was high tide they were really close to the beach (just 5 m at one point) and you could see them really clearly. I've got lots of photos to bore everyone with and i'll upload them as soon as i get a chance.
