Hi All, Since our last update.......... We met Cliff, Kirsty and Olivia on Sunday night for a drink and we went to a bar called -5. Need we explain further..... the whole bar (except the floor and ceilings) was made of ice, even the glasses. When you go in they supply you with big padded coats with fur hoods, fur boots and gloves. You are only allowed to stay half an hour and beleive us, thats all you needed. Hi all We hit the road on Thursday and made our way from Christchurch to Twizel. On route we took in the amazing scenery. It's so contrasting and the pictures just don't do it justice. You all must visit at least once! We took the inland scenic route passing Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki which has views of Mount Cook in the distance. Hi All, Well we have arrived safely on the South Island. We flew to Christchurch today and its bloody cold compared to the North Island and Oz! We are in trousers and jumpers so no sun bathing to be done here. We are picking up a hire car tomorrow and are heading off further south but we are not sure where yet.
