Well Noosa was . . . wet. Spent time shopping, and eating and other things you do in the rain, and we had a girlie sleepover, as we had a double room (with 3 sleeping in the bed), with hot chocolate and marshmallows, face masks, nail painting and trashy magazines! spent a lot of the day times trying to waste away the hours as oz is an outside country! Last night Sarah and I went over to Lucy and Kirsty's hostel, (they slept in a diff one on the second night) with the goon and had a nice time, but Kirsty is pretty ill and has to go to hospital on friday so quite an early night. left Noosa this morning, happy to be leaving the rain, to arrive at Rainbow Beach, with even more rain, and a population of 900, so not a lot to do around here! Fraser Island trip looks unlikely, but not sure how long i can last in this place! Went to watch the waves this morning and they were great. Some people were even in the sea, but not many were actually standing on their boards! Cyclone has been downgraded to a Cat 2, but is only 200km away from Rainbow Beach, and heading back into the coast! I thought i was coming to sunny Australia!
