This update covers both yesterday and today (June 28/29). Bernie spent days 2 & 3 in hospital being treated for severe kidney infection. Happy to report that he was released this afternoon, with an antibiotic prescription...and instructions from doctor to stay hydrated. We had a great dinner (of course anything would taste great after his meals at hospital for last 3 days). He's looking forward to a good nights sleep back in hotel. Assuming he feels good in morning our plans are to resume trip home (1,800 miles to go). Planned trip is south to Billings, MT and then southeast to Gillette, WY tomorrow. Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers.
