This update covers both yesterday and today (June 28/29). Bernie spent days 2 & 3 in hospital being treated for severe kidney infection. Happy to report that he was released this afternoon, with an antibiotic prescription...and instructions from doctor to stay hydrated. Well...sometimes the best laid plans aren't quite enough. Bernie has not been feeling well the last few days. Early this morning we made a trip to local hospital emergency room. Turns out he has a kidney infection. He has been admitted for a day or two for observation, antibiotics and fluids. As of 5:45 this evening he is feeling better! Thank goodness. Picture above is best we could do.

Back in the USA !! What a difference one day makes in the landscape. 324 miles today, 7,279 trip total. We've been riding 13 days without a day off. Tomorrow we'll try for Rapid City, SD. Calling for 95-98 degree temps. Thanks for your prayers.
