Here we are AGAIN! We seem to keep coming back here, but at least this time it is for a very good reason......the first race of the Formula One Grand Prix 2008 season!!!!
And once again the temperatures are reaching 40 degrees!
The actual race day was like an endurance test - 6 hours of sitting in almost unbearable heat with only my crappy umbrella for shade and constantly feeling thirsty no matter how much water you drank! And to top it off, Ferrari performed terribly!
Still, it was a great weekend, topped off by a fantastically over-the-top performance by KISS. Ok, so I don't really know any of their songs, but they certainly know how to put on a good show - platform boots, fake blood, fireworks, people being hoisted above the stage etc! Great stuff!!
