Today after waking up in our, not so beautiful room we quickly packed up and checked out - a quick tuk tuk to the centre of town (which is like a ghost town) we found somewhere to get some food and wifi! I realised shorty after it was one of the places I had read about - so I asked them if try had rooms and how much, they told me it was $40 a night, so I quicky went in a agoda and found the same room, same for $30! Bargains ha. While sat out the front Pat and Jen turned up having the same idea as us. A couple of drinks and some food and they had booked at the same place and we had booked a mini van to kong lor caves for tomorrow. This evening we met up with Pat and Jen and went for a wander around town (there wasn't much) but was really interesting to see Thailand across the Mekong river. Grabbed some food at a very strange little restraunt and headed back to play some cards and have a few beers - tonight I completed a bucket list item I completely forgot about - I learnt how to play Euchre. This wasn't the best idea as we played until 1am and have to be up for breakfast at 7! Fun times and so glad I've finally learnt how to play! X
