I LOVE BAVARIA! Like the day after all bug travel days, we have a very lazy morning. Only forcing ourselves to get up for our included breakfast (we have learnt to make the most of these things) it turns out to be very decent. Eggs and bacon decent! We fill up our plates, see if there is any fruit to steal, have a few coffees, then it's back to bed to lazy about and listen to the cricket. After surprising the cleaning staff for the 3rd time, I make the executive decision to get up. Getting ready is sooo good! The shower is heaven:) not sure if we mentioned it, but the Rome one made you want to cry! No pressure, only one drizzly of water came out, and it was a warm cold at best! With this one, you could actually your hair mmmm. Feeling clean and refreshed, we head out! We go for lunch at a mexican place en route, and it's awesome! I have fajitas and Troy has chili con can, with onion rings to share. We order extra chili and enjoy the spice!!! I am constantly feeling like spicy food over here, as its not such a common thing. Feeling pretty full, we waddle back to the Hofbräuhaus...so excited to go back! We wander though the pain platz, and there is a huge gay festival going on! Make shift beer halls and sausage joins crowd the square, with all the locals coming out in force! Don't think the Germans actually care what was being celebrated, as there was old men in little hats, siting next to queens dressed as queens haha! They were all just drinking beer an pretzels together, hovering a great time listing to music. We hang out here for a while, taking in the atmosphere, even with a rock band playing, it still feels extremely relaxed haha! We reluctantly move on before we give into the smell of the millions of sausages being cooked, even though we are ready to burst! The Hofbräuhaus isn't too busy yet which is good, so we find a seat and prepare our selves for an angry waiter to yell at us:) surprisingly, we have a lovely young guy who doesn't even want his tip..have we entered into the wrong building? I order a raddler and Troy has a dunkle, both great! We judge the other contiki and topdeck groups that slowly filter in, and realize we are very lucky with the group we got!! An annoying American couple sits down on the same bench as us, and we do our best to ignore their painful accent and silly comments about beer. The place is starting to get really busy, so we order a final beer and give our nice man a generous tip:) he smiles and I think it happy. The couple next to us leaves after their second round and within seconds, out waiter runs to us and says "they left?" we nod confused, and he literally bolts through the hall, and what I imagine is into the street after them! The left without paying! b******s! Trust me, this is not the place where it's easy to forget such a thing, not after 4 beers. He comes back in looking defeated, gives us a sad smile, and slinks off to tell the manager. I really hate people like that, makes me so mad! We finish up, grad one of their glorious pretzels and head back to the hotel.
