I got up to Franz Josef on TUesday night i think i am really confused with days of the week. I decided to do a half day hike and booked on to the 12.30 trip. i signed in and collected the equipment all i needed was warm socks and crampons and i was ready for the ice. we got a bus to the carpark and from there it was a hours walk to the ice once at the face we put on the crampons and were devided into 4 groups as there were over 50 of us! we then headed on to ...

I am still on the SOuth Island trying to see everywhere before the 14th Feb. I left Dunedin last Tuesday after visiting Baldwin Street the steepest residential street in the world and headed south to Tim and Katys. Well i have 4 weeks to see the whole of the South Island. I have been down here now for a week and so far have been to Christchurch, where i met up with Tracey, Queenstown, Stewart Island, Invercargill, Milford Sound and Dunedin. I have got 4 days off and borrowed William and Hazels car and driven to the Waitomo caves to do a Rip, Raft n' Rock trip which is where i absail into the caves, black water rafting, caving, and the rock climb out of the caves going this afternoon and can't wait!!! will let you know how it was later!!
