Hello everyone sorry haven't updated the blog for sooooo long i have been very busy working on a dairy farm in Hawera milking 320 cows and feeding masses of calves which is a lot easier then it is at home fill up the feeder tow it behind the quad bike into the paddock and let the calves feed simple!!! I have been there since the 10th October but sadly i don't think i will be there for much longer as they are hoping to of found a couple to do the work! Not long ...

Well I arrived in Nelson on Wednesday from Picton. This seems to have shocked everyone who has heard but i went horse riding on Thurday for about 2.5hours. It was a brilliant way to see the countryside, we went through a river but my horse i don't think liked it. On the way back we even did some trotting! Hello, i have now reached Wellington after spending a few nights with relatives near Palmerston North. Spent yesterday helping to drench cattle. I was hoping to spend a couple days in Wellington but the hostel only has one night available or i could spend $70 for a single instead of $25 where i am so i think i will be moving to South Island Tomorrow but not really worried big cities aren't really my think!. Hello again, i have now moved on the Napier the art deco capital of the world. today i decided to go on a wine tasting tour, got picked up from the hostel a 1pm and visited 4 vineyards sampling about 6 wines at each one. also went up Ta Meta hill amazing views for miles in every direction. Napier is right on the sea so spent the morning walking along the beach can't swim in it as there is a strong rip tide here.

I have now arrived in Taupo about an hour from Rotorua where i had been for the last week. There is so much to do here i don't know where to start, well i do as i am going white water rafting tomorrow, i last went rafting with the young farmers but somehow i think this is going to be more exciting!
