Well I arrived in Nelson on Wednesday from Picton. This seems to have shocked everyone who has heard but i went horse riding on Thurday for about 2.5hours. It was a brilliant way to see the countryside, we went through a river but my horse i don't think liked it. On the way back we even did some trotting! I also went sea Kayaking in the Abel Tasman National Park which was brilliant, the winds were strong so we didn't manage to get as far as we should have but it was great fun anyway. I then walked to the centre of New Zealand which was about a 20 minute walk from the hostel, was a dull day but still managed to see a lot of nelson and Abel Tasman.

On Monday i got the bus back to Picton to get the Ferry back to the North Island, I decided i had seen enough of the South Island so would return to the North.

Just kidding - i am heading north again to do some work on a dairy farm for a week or so in Hawera near Taranaki.
