Well I awoke to the sound of boys chatting and Pete getting up to watch the Spain v Germany at 6:30 this morning. Such a joyous way to start the day! I got all dressed for a run but never actually made it out the door as was dead tired and back was sore.

I went to the International Antarctic Centre today, which was alright. Overpriced for what it is but I did get to see some blue penguins and have a ride in a hugthingymabob! Pretty miserable day really, been grey, rain/sleet showers, wind and cold. Defintiely make all those in the UK smug.

Have had a relaxing afternoon and done a bit of reading, sketching and played a couple of games with the boys. We are all suffering from post-sleepover tiredness. The boys seemed to have fun with the whole day yesterday which was the main thing. Plus we learnt how to make the world's simplest birthday cake - an icecream cake! Take one tub of ice cream, turn it out and put candles, chocolate sauce and toppings on top. 2 mins and your done!

Going to be getting an early night as am shattered and got to be up early to be able to be ready before building inspetors come back round and get my car back. Sad times to see the little thing go. Will sign off now and enjoy the rest of my relaxing evening.
