surfing day! went down for a $16.50 lesson another thing 1770 is famous for. it was really wkd the weather was jsut right. it wasnt to hot and a little rain. the waves we just big enuf and we both had a good old try. at one point we both were loosing ground to the waves but battled on. beki got annoyed n complaned to the teacher she was 2 small so the guy showed her and easier way out next to the rocks and she was away. beki stood up a few times and steve aswell but steve was fighting a losing battle with the waves as he wasnt as far over as beki. it was hard work beki got sunburnt again through clouds and we both got a rash on our arms from carrying the surf boards. may ahve another go again 2moz. the hostel here is fab may stay for a week so beki can learn 2 dive and steve practice his surfing.
