today was the day of our Great Barrier Reef trip. yet another early start saw us get up n get there by 7.45!!! once agian we are back in cairns woken up by a fire alarm in the hostel at 5.55am... lovely though did get to see some firemen! oh what absolute joy...after a lie in went and did our jobs and sorted our tours out. hopefully tomoz we ill be ok as we are going on the reef. beki will do an intro dive and it will only be $26 as they have a special on! yay. sent another package home today with some goodies in though its really expensive so it went by sea mail. hopefu...

we went on our trip to cape tribulation which started very early ( 7.30am) and after an hour of going round picking everyone up we finally set out from cairns to cape trib. we headed up into the rainforest stopping at some wonderful lookouts along the way. we had a senic coastal drive and then a river sruise on the daintree river looking for crocs! we saw a babyone which could have been a trig and was to voth of us untill it was pointed out properly. then...

today we ventured out into Cairns our hostel is miles out, dont think we are gonna stay after our two 'free' night, so we got the bus into town. we went to shopping centre mainly because it was air conditioned and was ice cold so nice in this humidity. beki bought a watch strap, a top and got her phone repaired. as we had a free meal there, we went to the Rhino bar in the city centre.
