sorry it has been a while since my last update...not much to tell you in day-to-day life until i start travelling which i have...but that is another blog entry altogether...christmas came and went...very weird not to be home and i think its safe to say i wont be away from home again over the holidays...the couple we lived with made a big dinner which was probably the most random meal piecing ever...lasagna, onion rings, fries, potato salad, a salad, and some chicken...then met some friends on the beach for a BBQ. i ended up moving out that hellhole as the couple decided to go on holiday and werent planning on giving any notice to us! they were awful...good riddance! i have so many funny stories and memories from their sheer rudeness tho that i will remember forever. NYE was pretty good...i am not a huge fan of that holiday anyways but as a traveller you have to go to the harbor bridge to watch the fireworks...after waking at 645 and getting in line at 7 for the royal botanical gardens, we finally entered the park around 1...there was a lot of disorganization on the city's park with regard to line cutters...argh! we then sat in the blazing heat until the family show at 9 and the main show at midnight...the fireworks were pretty amazing tho!! i finished my job and moved into a bar/hotel with kate for a couple of weeks...it was just as interesting! i have made some really good friends here and i will def be sad to go. looking forward to coming home but i also want to stay here!!!
