sorry it has been a while since my last update...not much to tell you in day-to-day life until i start travelling which i have...but that is another blog entry altogether...christmas came and went...very weird not to be home and i think its safe to say i wont be away from home again over the holidays...the couple we lived with made a big dinner which was probably the most random meal piecing ever...lasagna, onion rings, fries, potato salad, a salad, and some chic...

Finally got a job! Been there about a month now...a little sandwich shop on the beachfront...not the most glamorous job but its money in the bank...$19 an hour for making sandwiches is ok with me!!! it is now 2 days before Christmas and I gotta tell you it is so weird to not be in a cold atmosphere (altho i hear its 75 in charleston)...we were walking around this past Sunday before going to the bar (Sunday is the biggest drinking night of the week in Australia)...

Since I have last updated a lot has happened....first and foremost, I have applied for over 25 jobs and NOTHING. it is very frustrating but I will not give up! I recently moved into another house with my friends Kate and Amy. It is not too far from where I was last time but a lot less people. I am sure it is a great city with a lot to offer but it reminded me of Savannah or Asheville. No offense to those cities but I did not come all the way around the world to be in the same atmosphere I was in back home. I will def go back before i leave to explore once more.
