Day at sea today....we slept in late for once....It started to get really rough again at about 8am, lost a few things off the shelves but nothing like the other night.The day at sea has been largely uneventful because we are taking an inland route. It is just now starting to get rough because we are heading to open water for a few hours. We have been warned that there will be 2 storms overnight, both as we hit open water. We are seasoned sailors now though and...

Well, we survived a force 11 severe storm at sea....but boy was it hair raising. I stayed awake till 3:30 am because I was too scared to sleep! The cabin looked like a bomb had gone off in it....nothing had stayed on the shelves. After we went back to the cabin, the ship started rolling as well as pitching. We all agreed that we never ever ever wanted to go through another night like .......... ------------Which is why the news that we were sailing into anot...

We left Harstad at 8am this morning.....heading for the Loferton islands.   At 10am we turned back and returned to Harstad.....we were heading into a hurricane apparently and would not be making it to Loferton. Spent a few hours in Harstad looking round the town....it was quite pretty really. Considering it was not a planned stop at that town, there was plenty to see.We set sail from Harstad at 3pm and at about 6pm we hit what I guess is the end or beginning ...

We returned to Tromso last night, it was quite late by the time we got outside. (Quarter past Midnight) We decided not to go to the Cathedral for the choral service and instead we went to the pub just by the ship.It was very atmospheric and there was live music where, I believe, two men were killing some famous tunes. Little little was quite intimidated because there was a 9 foot polar bear stood on his hind legs inside the pub.....well that is enough to intim...
