We returned to Tromso last night, it was quite late by the time we got outside. (Quarter past Midnight) We decided not to go to the Cathedral for the choral service and instead we went to the pub just by the ship.It was very atmospheric and there was live music where, I believe, two men were killing some famous tunes. Little little was quite intimidated because there was a 9 foot polar bear stood on his hind legs inside the pub.....well that is enough to intim...

We arrived in Tromso at about 2:15 pm.....From November until January, Tromso and the other Northern most places are in total darkness. I thought it might be an exaggeration, but oh my gosh no....it isn't. When we got off the ship, it felt like midnight! It was only just past lunchtime really. The sun will not rise again until January 16th in Tromso. I bet they have a massive party to celebrate!We walked across the bridge in Tromso at that is 1000 meters...
