Well, even by our standards of being able to cope with rough seas, last night was truly horrendous. It was so rough even I did not feel my best! I managed to close my eyes and get to sleep finally....but for half of today both David and I have felt like we are wobbling....even when we were on land. Horrible feeling!Thankfully, today the sea has been a lot calmer and we have been taken a route between Fjords which means a lot less open sea to tackle. It is bit...

Little little was SO proud, she wanted me to post this extra blog to show everyone her certificate for braving the ice dunk!Dave and I got one too.....but really, little little was the star of the show. :-)

So, our first stop today took us too Kirkenes....this is a frozen little town close to the Russian border. Boy it was cold....and frozen! It was so dangerous underfoot that it ceased to become fun quite fast!Walking into town is meant to take 15 minutes....Yeah, if you are a mountain goat!!! It I managed to find bit of ground to do a snow angel.....got cold and wet which was good practice for the ice dipping that I will speak about in my next blog!

The stop at Vardo was short....but long enough for Dave, little little and I to strip to our undies (swim suit in my case) and plunge into iced water. Three people and one bear took the ships tour guide up on the offer of an ice dip.....I wonder why!!!?We were lead, towles clutched in our hands, to a shack where we stripped off and were then taken out into the snow, down past the other ships guests and onto a jetty with the sea either side. I had a terrible fee...

We had a very rough night again last night....still isn't affecting me, dave or little little. I thought I might tip out of bed a few times in the night! The bunks are not very big either....(single bunks and mine folds down from the wall!)We arrived in Honningsvag at around 12 lunchtime....it was, of course, a town in darkness.
