Ashley dropped us off at the airport and we had about a 30 minute wait to pass through security due to the fact they only had 2 lanes open! We made it to our gate and spent the time waiting to board people watching. Our flight was due to depart at 4:30 pm and they pushed back from the gate right on time.

The flight was uneventful, always the best kind. We watched A Walk in the Woods, ate dinner and tried to sleep. I started feeling really sick with cold and bronchitis symptoms, so I didn't sleep very well. Kathi was uncomfortably warm--so much so that I went to get some wet napkins for her to use to try to cool off with. No personal air vents on our plane didn't help matters. :((
