Got a late start (again), so decided to put some miles in today. Not much happened during the drive, except for Mitch Hedberg. Almost ran the car off the road laughing so much. You know, it's hard to drive with tears in your eyes.
Mahoney State Park is amazing. It’s absolutely beautiful. If I could design a camping experience, this would be it. We may have to stay here awhile.
Random Aside #1: I still haven’t figured out how to relax yet. I keep thinking I have to do something, or be somewhere, or take care of something. What have I forgotten? We’ve always crossed the country with a goal in mind – we have to get somewhere by a certain time. We have to start understanding that the road isn’t a means to an end this time, but the adventure is the road.
Random Aside #2: I don’t get it. The campground is almost full, there are tons of dogs and kids, yet there’s not much barking and very little screaming. No one played loud, obnoxious music last night or talked so loud you could hear them back in CA. It couldn’t be that people are actually considerate here…naw, must be the water.

Mitch Hedberg kept us laughing from North Platte all the way to Ashland. Dad says he’s f$%^#ing funny. We’ve decided to find the Kit Kat factory along our route and see if we can get our letters back.
