Left Tex's as quickly as we could and continued east. Found a city park in Green River, Wyoming, and had breakfast. Blasted on (to put Tex's miles behind us) and made it into Nebraska. Left I80 and got onto the Lincoln Highway (old US 30). Stayed at Oliver State Recreation Area. Very rustic--no amenities, but we were right on the bank of a small lake. Took a walk along the bank; Molli loved all the new smells. Very nice and relaxing.
DAILY ENTERTAINMENT... courtesy of Shannon
We got pictures of everyone today so that we wouldn’t forget anybody. We missed y’all so much that we almost called ya, but the moment passed. When we stopped and Dad was able to look at the pictures, he said, "Oh yeah, Shannon’s got red hair." Yeah, we miss you a lot.
