Now we're in search of a "high class" RV place to take showers (about time) and do the laundry. It’s overcast—threatening rain.
Crossed into Central Timezone. 12:50 became 1:50.
Got a little rain outside North Platte—not much, though. It’s been overcast and humid today, but not bad at all.
Found Holiday RV Park in North Platte. Nice place. Did the laundry. Good Grief! Way too much for only five days out! We need to wear the clothes a lot longer and get a lot grubbier from now on. Sheeeeesh!
Met a couple (Beth and Woody) from Alabama. They have a Roadtrek 200 and just finished going down Route 66. Small world.
The wind blew like a son-of-a-gun tonight. Dad took Molli for a walk and saw a tent leaning at about a 70-degree angle. Can’t imagine how that thing didn’t carry the occupants to Oz. It was there in the morning, though. Standing proud and tall, just like nothing happened last night. I think the occupants were looking for the wizard, though…

Got three riddles today. Dad got the first one; Mom got the third. Couldn’t figure out the second one. Mom finally looked at the answer and gave Dad a hint. Dad finally got it. I don’t think that counts, though...

Brudder North Platt. I visited the list of things to do in North Platt. Number one, is to visit the Union Pacific Railroad yard. The recommendations go down hill from there. Laundry day. Some years ago I bought Renee a washing board as a joke. She wasn't amused. However a washing board might have come in handy for you. Why not just hang your stuff out in the rain and let the wind clean and dry it. You guys do not yet know now to rough it.
belinda ... ah, laundry!! At the beginning of my trip, I had four changes of clothing. By NZ, I went out and bought me a bunch of clothing so I could do laundry every five or six days. Lord, I was tired of those clothes!!
