Day 7

I can't believe it has already been a week, the time is just flying by.
That was until today... Today was probably the slowest day of the trip so far. That is not to say that today was unenjoyable.

After yet another late lazy wake up, I chilled around the house watching some tv and stuffing around on skype. Eventually I made it out of the house and met gav for a nutritious breakfast of Pizza by the beach. The next 6 hours of my day was spent either in the sea or on my towel, a very fulfilling couple of hours.

At about 630, I headed home, chilled with Adam for a bit and then headed out for a bite. Upon Adams recommendation I went to a noodle bar called Giraffe who make some mean Pad Thai. After dinner I met gav and we made our way back to the beach. There we met about 25 people from the program Machon and chilled on the beach until midnight.

At that point we decided we should do something with our night and hearing rumors that Infected Mushroom were playing a gig, we flocked to the streets trying to see if this was true. After finding the place, being told it was DJ playing Infected mushroom songs and that entry was for over 25s, we searched for something else to do. We started walking all the way to some club, that someone told someone was good.... It was definitely worth the walk.

After initially being denied as we were not 25, we managed to sweet talk our way in. This club called Clara was amazing. Right on the water (see picture), with no roof and some amazing tunes we partied until they closed at about 3am. The mood was only further improved by a dancer who thought he was the sexiest thing around and by meeting Ofir the magician from all the Barmis in Sydney.

Eventually the night had to end and after a long walk home I manage to hit the pillow by 4am.
