Today it was time to hit our first theme park. The Millers were available and Dreamworld was our destination.
School holidays on the Gold Coast so it took us about 40 minutes to travel the couple of km's. We must have taken the long way!
School holidays at Dreamworld, people everywhere and queue's were long so unfortunately we didn't get to do all the rides we wanted. Maybe we should have paid the $50 queue jumper fee!
The rides we had were all fun though. It is fair to say that the Miller's were more adventurous than the Stevo's. No way any Stevo's were going on the big drop. 39 stories or 130 metres high, dropping at 135km/h or 3.5 seconds. Not sure when Alex thought that that was a good idea!
The Millers then joined us for afternoon drinks at the campsite before we joined the Miller's & McBain's for dinner at the Mariott Hotel for teppanyaki at Misono Japanese Steakhouse. Ripper meal, the kids were especially impressed by the theatrical cooking by the chef.
Small world, the Atchison's just happened to be dining at the same restaurant!
