The bike ride from Hoi An to Hue was interesting....! A section of the Top Gear Vietnam tour...
First 2/3 of the day were nice coastal roads, mountain passes and stretches of countryside... The last 1/3 was slightly hairy... Following a local guide along the way.
Stopped off at an amazing beach with a handful of people in sight, a few viewpoints along the mountain pass and a cool natural waterfall. Also stopped at a local religious temple built into a cliff face. Once we hit the last part of the journey we travelled a Vietnamese highway, it was an interesting experience to say the least...
Arrived as planned in Hue before dark, stayed in a guesthouse with probably the nicest owner I've ever met!
Next day a few of the guys decided to take another 2 days on the bikes up the coast, few of us decided against and grabbed a pack of beers for the bus!
Visited all of the local temples and King's palace in Hue, taking the moped around the city to the sights was fun.
Next stop Phong Nha caves, the biggest in the World!
