We visited Agra as one of our final destinations in India, the reason being the World Wonder, The Taj Mahal being there. Much to our delight we had 3 days away from the madness of Indian cities in the countryside of Ranthambhore. Although the town around the station area is still a bit manic we were staying in a quiet resort in the middle of farm land. Jaipur is the capital of the state of Rajasthan and you definitely know it! Over 2.5 million people and the city centre is absolute chaos! The streets are crazy, bazaars are hectic with all sorts on sale and as with all Indian cities, animals are everywhere. Pushkar is one of the more tourist hit destinations in Rajasthan with some days during high season and festivals having 10,000 foreigners packing the streets.
