Another lazy day today. After brekkie the boys set up their rods and drove out to the rocks to try and catch us some dinner. It was pretty hot today, the wind was calmer so it felt quite warm. I walked down to the beach and did some yoga on the sand before cooling off with a swim, then swam out to the rocks to see what the boys were up to. They had a few bites but kept getting snagged and losing their hooks on the sharp rocks. Matt caught one strange looking fish, possibly a rock cod, which he threw back. We headed back to the cabin and read and played cards for a bit then made some lunch. After lunch the boys went back to the rocks now the tide was right out and Matt caught a shark about 4ft but it broke the line and swam away (so no proof), and I had a snorkel around the bay. The shore was quite rocky which made it hard to enter the water, and there was seaweed and red jellyfish everywhere which was pretty gross but I braved it and went in. The water was pretty churned up and cloudy, it seems to get that way in the afternoon when the tide goes out but I saw a few tropical fish around the coral. I swam in and had a snooze on the sand then came back to the cabin, had a shower and played some more cards, pretty slack living, going back to reality is going to be so so hard! Just about to cook another BBQ dinner and light the bonfire, probably have an earlyish one tonight as we will pack up and head off pretty early tomorrow morning.
