Today marked the start of our big Aussie road trip, we set off about 5:30 and met up with Matt and Hiromi and Camden on the freeway. We took a few stops here and there along the way but pretty much powered straight through to Port Augusta, arriving just before 5pm. We are sharing a small cabin at the caravan park which is cosy but fine. We headed to a pub for dinner after a tour of the town directed my Matt and his confused gps. After dinner there was some footy watching and then sleep. Hiromi has brought Norm the gnome who is getting his photo taken all along the journey so keep an eye out. Tonight he got his photo taken with a local girl in the pub who thought it a good idea to wear silver leggings, horrendous!
