Today we did our usual thing and got up early and packed up camp and made our way to Katherine. We were supposed to be meetings some of the other crew members in Katherine however the 4wd they had hired wouldn't start so they had to get mechanics and tow trucks out to them. They eventually got a replacement vehicle and got on the road about 4 hours later. Meanwhile we continued on to kununurra, stopping for lunch at a place called Timber Creek where Hiromi found worms crawling under the toilet seat, gross! We crossed the border and had our cars searched by quarantine and made it to kunners about 3:30 which was 2:00 local time. We all squashed onto one campsite as the park was full and there was only the one spot left, luckily between nine of us wrongly have three tents and two swags. We caught up with Cam and Nic and Lexie, and drove up to Kelly's k*** to watch the sunset which was quite lovely. We came back to campo await the arrival of the others , then headed to the pub for dinner. After a long wait we ate steak that we cooked ourselves on a hot stone at the table which was the best meal we've had so far. We strolled back to camp after dinner and called it a night.

M & D Spratt We are enjoying your messages. We thought you were going into Darwin but since you are already into WA, guess not. Sounds like a lot of road time!! We are going to see Evie and whatever (OOPS Julia) today. They have been moved back to the private hospital for two days of bonding and teaching then go home tomorrow night or Sat. Have a great further and safe trip. While at Frankston Hospital we saw two parking signs for ambulance parking spots at the main entrance that said "No Parking - Ambulances Accepted" love M & D
