Wow what a day we had today! We got up and convoyed it to Coles where we picked up BBQ picnic supplies then got on the road towards Wyndham. Our first stop was a remote waterhole where we swam in crystal clear cold water at the bottom of a small waterfall which was incredible. The temperature was already hot, and most of the day was about 34 degrees. After a swim and play we moved on to the grotto which was a more well known massive waterhole which required a trek down some stone steps to the water at the bottom surrounded by sheer rock cliffs. As its the dry season the water wasn't flowing at this hole and looked a little festy so only Camden went in, gross! Next we drove into Wyndham and up to a high lookout point where we could see for miles. We stopped here and cooked our BBQ, then headed back to We put a load of washing on and went for a stroll into town, which was a hot walk. Next we jumped in the pool in the caravan park, the drove back up to Kelly's k*** to see more sunset. The bush land behind the lookout was on fire, which meant it was a little smoky, but the weather was perfect and we all sat on the rocky cliff and watched the sun slowly set. We came back to camp and had showers and went to a different pub for dinner, and now I'm crashing, as we have a very early start tomorrow as we have to be at the airport at 5:30 for our scenic flight.
