Today before we set off to explore, we drove to the beach where we are staying at Torbay Inlet. We were blown away with how stunning the inlet meeting the beach is. The sand is so white and you can see and hear the waves crashing at the nearby beach. There were quite a few four wheel drives making their way to the ocean beach. After a quick stop to stretch the legs, we continued to explore the area east of Albany including the Torndirrup National Park with its amazing natural structures including The Gap - a huge gap between large boulders with a steel bridge walk way hanging over the edge, Blow Hole and Natural Bridge.
After exploring these fabulous rock formations and the nearby lighthouse we made our way to the historic whaling station where we had a quick look around (couldn't leave Cadbury in the car for the 3 hours needed to see it all) and indulged in some great Devonshire coffee with a view to die for. We drove back via the Albany windfalls and then stopped in town to wash Cadbury (who has been madly scratching the last couple of days) in a car/dog wash and buy a few supplies at the supermarket before heading back for a quiet night in.
Night all xx
