Woke up this morning to gorgeous sunny and relatively wind still weather, so decided to stay another night so we can enjoy the sun and beach location. Today we stayed put here at 40 Mile Beach and did our best to do nothing much at all. The day turned out even windier than yesterday and very cloudy - but good for taking photos. The wind was howling around our caravan, so we had to make sure the awning was tied down firmly with extra anti flappers clipped on the sides. We didn't have far to go today. We checked out a roadside stop beside a river (with running water for a change) but decided to head to Gnoorea and 40 Mile Beach, where you can camp for a small fee on the beach. We set up on the edge of a small cliff with sweeping views over a rocky headland and small beach.
