We had a very relaxed day starting with a lazy get up time of after 10am - very nice! Cooked a veggie frittata in the weber BBQ for brunch and and then settled down to watch the passing river traffic - a couple of fishing boats and plenty of bird life. Gadi played around with setting up a tarpaulin along the side of the caravan for privacy and as a wind break if needed - although in all honesty we've had superb weather hovering around 20 degrees, with blue skies ...

We enjoyed a relaxing day in Wentworth today, starting with a late brekky by the river and just chilling out watching the bird life on the river in front of us. Cadbury went for a swim, trying to catch bits of bread we had thrown to the ducks, pelicans and swans, but he got stuck in deep muddy water and Gadi had to help him out. We headed off from Broken Hill mid morning, heading for Wentworth some 280km south along the Silver City Highway. The scenery started as scrub filled flat plains that eventually changed to become more 'riverina/sunraysia' in appearance with more trees, greener grass and slight undulating hills. Today was another busy day filled with lots of sightseeing. First thing we packed up as we had to leave the racecourse where we were staying due to a function on the premises over the weekend. What a huge day of sightseeing we had today here in Broken Hill! We started off by checking out the nearby disused Junction Mine and Lookout, with its head frame still intact and interpretive panels to read about its history, and of the surrounding North Broken Hills works.
