Today dawned cool, rainy and windy - a total change from yesterday's 26 degree (albeit windy) day. Today was really warm (26 degrees) but also very windy. We didn't do too much, relaxing all morning by the river watching the antics of the ducks, swans, egrets and Pelicans. Ahhhh, this is the life! Some time later I drove Gadi and Cadbury around to the other side of the river where they could walk to the top of the island opposite where we are camped. This morning we stayed put by our caravan enjoying sitting by the river in the warm sun and watching the birdlife. We went down to one of the local pubs for lunch and then headed off for a drive to nearby Orange World to take a train tour of the 50 acre farm and learn more about the production of oranges and other citrus fruit. Today we went for a drive to Mildura, some 30km away from where we are staying at Wentworth. Along the way we stopped at the botanic gardens, which we didn't find too exciting - other than seeing Sturt desert pea flowers, which we hadn't seen in the outback. The rose garden was bare as the rose season has just finished, and the rest of the park didn't hold a lot of interest to us.
