Last day in Adelaide
As we have seen the main sights we want to we feel the need for a trip to the beach and a bit of relaxing in the sun catching a few rays.
En route we stopped off in the CBD to get a couple of things we need for Uluru then on to Glenelg, the main beach for Adelaide. We hit the beach just south of there as we can park for free only 50m from the beach and have access to our picnic lunch left in the car. After a very pleasant few hours sitting under clear blue skies soaking up the sun and cooling down when necessary in the sea.
Late afternoon back to the hotel to sort out all the cases and what is required for the Uluru stage of the trip.
Dinner at a very quiet restaurant was very good but we should have declined the complimentary pancakes, they were huge with cream and maple syrup, a mistake but one had to finish them.
Up early tomorrow to drop off the car at the airport and catch the flight to Alice Springs and camping under the stars.
