Sunday in Sydney on a glorious sunny day with no clouds in the sky so we decided to visit Botany Bay; site of Captain Cook's first landing. No visit to Sydney is complete without brunch and Bill's (Bill Granger) is the obvious choice, we set off on the bus to his original cafe in Darlinghurst. Gloucester to Coogee (Sydney) We set off early to drive into the Barrington Tops National Park area to see the mountain views. Byron Bay to Nambucca Heads Before leaving Byron Bay we took an opportunity to see the lighthouse at Byron Point, Australia's most eastern point. The view from the headland in the sun was superb.
