I think today is Wednesday. We arrived at Kande Beach yesterday lunchtime. It is a campsite on the white sandy beaches of Lake Milawi. The lake itself is huge, actually takes up one fith of Milawi. From the beach it looks and acts like an ocean. You can't see the other side and there are big waves lapping the shore. The waves make it noisy like an ocean too. Today we crossed the border into Malawi. Unfortunately, the truck broke down for a couple of hours and we were the entertainment for a fairly large group of children on the road side. They wanted a football, or our shoes, pens, anything really. We did have a football on the truck but Biggie, our guide advised not to give it to them as it would have caused a war - apparently the children were from a few different villages. We have been travelling for two day...
