No words can say what I think, just that this round the world thing your on has got to be one of the most amazing things that anyone could ever do.. WOW!!! Take care keep well. Leo xx
ann Hello Anne, I don't seem to have received your blogs for ages, and here they arrive all at once. Peru sounds really exciting. Machu Pinchu is another visit on my "to do" list - it sounds amazing! Interesting to hear your comments on walking at alltitude - I find it a bit concerning, hopefully I'll feel drunk as well! It's lovely that the "natives" are so welcoming and hospitable - especially when they have so little - in the material sense. Take care and ENJOY! Love, Ann x

re: Canberra, South AustraliaIan Mmm, clearly He hasn’t blessed Potosi . Actually the film you refer to is “The Devil’s Miner” and you’re right, it’s an extremely distressing film...as I so often say “who ever could forgive the way in which we treat the world in which we live...” unfortunately, one of my most oft used quotes. Certainly however something we could all do with keeping in mind before we grizzle about how hard life is these days. Travel safely Anne; excited to see you soon. Love, Ian x
re: Potosi, Bolivialaurie spicer HI Anne, wow... makes me think how lucky we are. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.. cant wait to see you and catch up. lots of love to you!! xxx Laurie
re: Potosi, BoliviaRose Hi Anne, Great to hear from you again. I was only saying to Sarah tonight, when we were out reccying one of her Emsworth to Basingstoke relay routes, that I hadn't heard from you in ages. Hear you are back in good old Blighty next week, that will be a bit of a come down from your exciting travels. Will be good to see you again. Take care. Rose x

re: Lake Titicaca, PeruIan Oh that poor snake.....!.....you guy’s were in his back-garden, he was just minding his own business....naughty, naughty! It all sounds ASTONISHING Anne, indeed drink it all in, bat’s n’ all. An ancient country and an ancient environment. Fantastic. Enjoy, be safe. Ian x
re: Puerto Maldonado, PeruBert Sounds great Anne, I am thinking about going there in 2012, and reading your blog will make that decision a little bit more sure. Bert Yes, do it. I can thoroughly recommend it.
re: Ollantaytambo, PeruAnn It sounds so idylic and romantic and peaceful Anne .... until your landing at Kadavu that is! At least the other inmates were out! I bet you livened up your little holiday group and made the resort managers' day though. Keep having fun.....Ann x Yes, I think I did make the Managers day! By the way, I´m now in Peru as I wanted to squeeze in one last trip before coming back. Trekking from Lima to Rio in Brazil over next 6 weeks. Will be home mid April. Looking forward to catching up with you and the others from running club x
re: Kadavu, FijiYvonne When you are back Anne, will no longer be able to leave rude comments on your blogs - DAMN! Anyhow - all good fun by the sounds of it BUT those kiddies - were they not warned of accepting sweeties from strangers and SURELY we don't want to hear about The Chief's DIRTY GAME - was that the old geezer in the striped shirt (aka your boyfriend)??????? HAVE FUN X No the Chief was not the old man in the stripped shirt. That old man is a nice guy from the village on Kadavu, and you should show some respect. The children have nothing but lots of sweets lol... now get on with your work!!
re: Nadi, FijiAnn Hi Anne,It's great to get your blogs again. I was beginning to think that you were just lazing about in Fiji, soaking up the sun so nothing to write home about! I should have known better - well, I did actually. It's good to know all your diving training has come into it's own - seeing all those sharks "in the flesh" must have been amazing. How did the "resort" on Michael's remote island turn out? Foundations is where to start!Love Ann x Hi Ann Well buy the time we had got through a substantial amount of beer we had a top notch diving centre on the worlds most unspoilt reefs complete with shark encounter tours and snorkel spectaculars. Ha! We can but dream.
re: Pacific Harbour, FijiYvonne Hi Anne - A GOOD READ - you could end up your return putting all your blogs together with your pics and publishing a book - THE NEXT BILL BRYSON! Yvonne x p.s. Pour a bottle of wine down my neck first and up for the DVD! Ha! That's is exactly why I'm doing a blog, I get to publish it as my own personal book. Hence it is quite boring in places but I still need to record it. I will definitely be boring you all with my stories when I get back - movie night too!
re: Pacific Harbour, FijiKatie Only just read this, brings back all the memories of SUCH an AMAAZING time!! Only wish we had to pictures to show for it all :(Miss you lots xxx Yes it was an amazing time and it is such a shame about the pictures. I am confident once you get the camera back it will all be ok ... something to look forward too :) Miss you more xxxx

Still think you are very brave to do this on your own. England will seem very tame when you eventually get back. Take care. Rose x Hi Rose. Yes I am still enjoying myself very much and I'm glad you're enjoying my blogs. Guess I will have to come back some time ... just not yet :)
