Day 54- Arrived after our overnight bus journey of 12 hours (still without a seeing a dvd) from airlie beach, with the mini-bus waiting for us, we threw our backpacks n and headed off to the hostel. A nice little hostel, it was more like an apartment than dorms. We headed off into to "town" to see what was on offer in Hervey bay....a beach and not much else as it turns out. So we headed back to the hostel where D cooked up some chicken, and where I then headed off out to pick up some "goon" (4litre box of "wine" that "may contain traces of fish eggs and grapes") for our 2 nights on Frazer island. Bearing in mind that we had to be at briefing about the island at 6 in the morning we had an early night

Day 57 (continued....back from frazer island) After an excellent 3days 2 nights on frazer we arrived back at hervey bay and moved hostels as it was 13 dollars cheaper per night. We arrived at our new place to find we were 1 of 6 people in the whole hostel. After a long chat with the woman on reception, and her showing us some of the facilities we wondered why it was so dead as it had everything. Anyways we headed to our room put our bags down and went over to the on site bar/cinema room where it was me, D and the woman on reception. As it was movie night and we were knackered from frazer me n d got to choose the movie on a projected screen a massive room where it was soon obvious that it would only be me n d for the rest of the night. After a good bit of chuck n Larry we headed for a good nights sleep.

Day 58- We booked up the Bus for the next day so that we could get of hervey bay, not that it was bad, just not overloads to do, another movie night "this time "I am legend" and a catch up on the laundry and speaking to the fam back home, it was time to get ready to head to noosa heads. Goodbye to the gate way of Frazer island!!!!
