On tuesday we hired a bike so that we could go and explore a bit more of Koh Samui so we picked up the bike at 10 and set off... nice and easy as it's one big loop road with small side roads to take you right to the coast. First stop Big Buddah... not quite as easy to find as we first thought but after about an hour of riding we found it, just as it started to rain! luckily we hadn't eaten yet so we stopped in at a cafe for a bite to eat and to wait for the rain ...

After meeting up with some canadians at the mui thai fight we arranged to meet up with them at the full moon party. vague directions as they had never been there before and were meeting some friends at 'yoghurt house 3'. sounded like we'd never find it but after a 20minute speed boat trip to Koh Phangan we headed to the main beach and started wondering around.... luckily we found the place and met up with the canadians, some aussies and a couple of germas to star...

The temp is around 37 degrees, reached 39 yesterday!!.. Things have really changed in Samui since I last came in 2002. It's very touristy and completely not what I remember. It's still nice, but think that mine and Ants parents would really enjoy it here as it's great for a holiday, to chill by the pool or beach, have a massage and take trips.
