After a pretty long couple of days travelling and a tough couple of weeks, it was really good to see Ant again. We met at the airport in the afternoon and jumped straight into a cab to a road near Khoh San Road. We managed to find a hotel room, which looked like a prison cell, but we had hot water and a free breakfast so all good.

The next day we did the touristy thing and wandered around Bangkok doing a bit of shopping and checking out a few temples. We planned to do most of the tourist bit the next day, when apparently the Royal Family would change the sach on one of the Bhudda's, which only happens 4 times a year.

However, we went for dinner and then to Khoh San road for a few well deserved/ needed drinks and a catch up. About twenty vodka redbulls later I was trying to talking the DJ in a bar to let Ant play the decks, to which he agreed 10.30pm for the next night! Sweet. After that we went with him to a rocking club and bopped away for a bit ( with not much sign of getting up with the birds).

Then, I had a bit of a 'spinout' so to speak and we left quite quickly. Our hotel was only round the corner from where we were and Ant realised that we were walking the wrong way. But in my drunken state told him 'I can't turn around, or I'll be sick!', so we walked for about an hour or so out of the way! lol... woops...!

The next day we were in a pretty bad state and I went for some lunch on my own! ;o( I managed to talk Ant into getting up later on in the afternoon but we didn't see the Royal Family or any other of the things we'd planned to do in Bangkok, oh and Ant never got to play in Khoh San road, but hay we had a good night! I think... lol...

We had to be up at 3.30am the next day to get our flights to Singapore and then to Bali, so we think we may have an excuse to come back to Thailand next year...!
