On our first day in Brisbane, we decided to treat ourselves to a meal out so we caught the bus into Brisbane town centre. We went for a steak and red wine meal (yumbley!) and then got a taxi back later.

The following day we drove to the Australia Zoo, which is run by Steve Irwins family. We were quite surprised at how expensive it was ($54 each) but assumed it must be amazing.

There were plenty of shops filled with Bindy (his daughter) stuff, infact I think we saw more Bindy stuff than animals. We walked around for a few hours and came across a few crocs, lots of birds and some baby piglets. We waiting around for the famous 'Crocossium show' where they feed the crocs but the majority of it was birds and snakes, with 5 minutes of croc feeding at the end.

I'm not sure if we're maybe spoilt in Jersey, but I would have to say that it was definitely not worth the money! Sorry Steve....!
