We decided to go sandboarding in the dunes not far from the town and so hired some bikes and sandboards and headed out to the desert. It was not exactly an easy ride with both mike and I having minging hangovers....I ended up puking all the way there, not too good at such a high altitude and is such immense heat! Luckily I managed to sort of recover by the time we finally arrived but mikes only got worse and when you finally see the pictures you might feels some of the pain we were feeling!

Sandboarding was so cool, we had to climb to the top of these massive dunes and then a bit like snowboarding slide all the way down. It was the best fun ever! Jacob and Eric the americans managed to chat up two girls who then joined us for the next couple of days.

We all ran out of water really quickly and so just after lunch had to head back to town and rehydrate.

We spent the afternoon trying not to get too burnt and then when the sun finally went down the place was like an ice box. We grabbed some dinnerand beers but to be honest after the night before neither of us were really up for a crazy night. The temp goes down to minus 15 at night which is horrible but luckily i have my amazing tesco sleeping bag keeping me warm and mike was just too lazy to get his out so froze all night...he he he!
