Got up at 9 to have breakfast, they still put meat in my meal even though I order the same every single day and it's a meat free meal, the staff are ridiculous here!
Got a tuktuk at 11 to the Chinese embassy, having searched for hours and found accommodation and transport in and out of China. This still wasn't good enough, we needed originals and 2 copies of all tickets and reservations! This is the fourth day we had been to the embassy! I am not happy! They close at 11.30 everyday as well!
So we got a tuktuk back to the guest house. Went to a travel agent to try and sort everything out, she said she could book our accommodation then cancel it after we got our visas, but we had to book flights! We researched this with her and alone and it was going to cost about £250! It only cost us £350 from London to Bangkok!
So we have decided not to go to China, it costs to much money having to book flights when we want to get the train/bus. It's to much hassle and we have wasted a week trying to do this as its the only reason we came back to Vientiane because if we wanted to go to Vietnam we could get there from Luang Prabang.
So we are not going to China! Went to the italian next door to the guest house for lunch! Watches Pirates Of The Caribbean when we got in! We are really making the most of having a TV! We have like 60 channels but 2 of them are in English, HBO Films or Fox Films. Films it is then!
We were real tired about life so we slept from 3 till 8! Went to have some rice from cute lady stall then I persuaded Michael to come to the night market with me as didnt want to do anything!
Bought a skirt to wear at temples as I needed one and they sold traveller bracelets which I have not seen any of since being in Laos so bought 5 as I want one for everywhere I go! Lost a lot of them while tubing also, as well as all my shoes, watch and being covered in bruises! Worth it though!
