Up at 8.30 today, and a leisurely morning awaited, as had elephant ride booked, leaving hotel at 1.00pm. Strolled into town for an iced cappuccino, then went to bank to change some money, (got a poorer rate than before). Walked back to hotel to relax and wait for my guide. At 1.00pm we met in Foyer, (again it was just Addy, my guide, and me). We took a local rickshaw to the riverside landing point 15 minutes away, where we got onto a Longtail boat. The boat trip took an hour winding up the river, where life was taken at a more relaxed pace. Leio. (my elephant).
