Up at 3.40 to catch 4.15 airport bus, (why did I choose to fly at this god forsaken hour ?). Reached the airport with plenty of time to spare, as had already checked in. Having gone through security, grabbed a coffee and made my way to the departure gate, ( which had to be the furthest one away, lol). The plane didn't board till 6.00, for a 6.15 departure, so had plenty of time to spare.

Arrived at airport at 7.00am with plenty of time to spare, having managed to get my arse out out bed at the godforsaken time of 5.40am. The plane wasn't due to leave till 8.30, so I got myself a coffee and settled down to read the paper.
